BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Attorney Jordan N. Lindsey is licensed to practice law in Michigan. She has an impressive educational background (See below). Her background in counseling and psychology, prior to attending law school, has proven to be a valuable asset to her specialization in family and juvenile law. Prior to attending graduate school for counseling psychology, Attorney Lindsey worked at Psychological Institutes of Michigan, P.C. under the supervision of, Dr. Robert E. Erard, where she gained practical knowledge and exposure to forensic psychology, specifically, court-appointed child custody evaluations, which initially sparked her interest in the family law field. Upon attending graduate school for psychology, she quickly realized her passion for advocating for clients' rights, which ultimately led her to law school, where she found her true calling as an attorney.

While attending law school, Attorney Lindsey served as a judicial law clerk in family court for the Honorable Kathryn A. George at the Macomb County 16th Circuit Court. She worked as a law clerk at two small family law firms, prior to beginning her legal career as an associate attorney. She was one of the first students at Detroit Mercy Law to graduate with a Family Law Concentration and devoted much of her law school career to gaining as much practical experience and exposure in the field as possible. Attorney Lindsey regularly volunteers her time to several local non-profit organizations, as giving back to the community and helping others are top priorities to her. When she is not working to serve her clients, her favorite hobbies include biking, singing, performing and writing music and spending time with her two dalmatians, Louie and Nowell.

Attorney Lindsey is a proud Michigan native and feels honored to be able to serve her community through her private law practice throughout all counties in Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, Grand Traverse County Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Macomb County Bar Association, Detroit Bar Association, Women's Bar Association, and Women's Lawyer's Association of Michigan - Tip of the Mitt Region.
